Elizabeth


The charming and beautiful grand-daughter of Rod and Ann Haig-Brown - Elizabeth - was here a while back.

I took this photo when she returned from a workout. Fit and fun, she (smart-girl) brought her bike from Vancouver to use while here.
Of course, the HBH is only minutes from downtown by bicycle, and simply minutes from almost any other point of interest in this area.

As a devoted member of the Haig-Brown Institute, it was only natural Elizabeth should work in the study while here for a couple of days. While here, she was also very helpful with our wireless computer system.

She entertained me with stories of her grand-parents and family, and commented on how things might have looked or been arranged while Ann and Roddy were here, which I found quite fascinating.
Her comments made me see through another point of view just how the house might have felt or been lived in...
